Blaine Pritchett received his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from UGA and has 25+ years of experience in the construction industry. Given his expertise, he certainly knows how important it is to create spaces with inclusivity in mind. As a Project Manager at UGA's Maintenance Project Management Department, he's especially learned what it means to renovate spaces to promote accessibility.

From December 2021 until the project's completion in February 2022, Pritchett oversaw ADA access improvements at various sites on campus like Aderhold Hall, the Lamar Dodd School of Art, Rogers Road Student Housing Complex, and the W01 Parking Lot.

"The main purpose of the project was to convert non-ADA areas around campus into ADA compliant spaces. This made circulation through campus easier for the populations that needed it. We added handicap ramps on curb cuts and sidewalks, grinded down raised sections of concrete and installed metal handrails in some locations. Since its completion, the project has had a very positive impact on the circulation of ADA needs."
