Known Issues

Known Andover Issues:

1. When a graphic is opened the following error is received “Failed creating remote objects. DotNet framework is missing.”
   • Workaround: Open Internet Explorer as an administrator.
     • Option 1: Right click on the Internet Explorer shortcut in your start menu or on your desktop then select ‘Run as Administrator’. Once Internet Explorer launches continue to the web.client by entering webclient.uga.edu in your address bar or selecting the entry in your favorites.
     • Option 2: Disable User Account Control (UAC), Disable UAC.
2. When using the reports module, areas are showing up that a user doesn’t administer in the area report and access event report.
   • This issue is due to security level changes in the latest web.client upgrade that represent what areas a web.client user has access to. As with personnel records that are now showing all areas a personnel record has access to even if the web.client user doesn’t administer them, the reports module is showing all areas to the web.client user even if that user doesn’t administer those areas. The web.client user only has view access to those other areas and cannot modify them.
3. Web.client is showing a blank page after logging in
   • Workaround: Enable Compatiblity View for the web page, Enable Compatibility View. 

Known Genetec Issues:

1. It can take a few (10-15) seconds to save the first Cardholder that you modify after starting a Genetec application.
